NEW ENGLAND
by The Dolphin's Eye Video
approx. 40 min of 1hr24 min

Welcome to the web's most unique lighthouse video. Some of New England's finest art museums offer this tape in their museum stores, PBS stations WGBH and those of Maine Public Television have broadcast the tape. Lighthouse music includes guitar pieces by David Surrette, synthesizer by Don Campbell, flute and cello. Inside Boston Light at sunset

The reflection in the tidal pool of Pemaquid Pt. light is interesting as a still image shown here, but is spectacular when the reflection changes as the camera pulls back and allows you to see Pemaquid Pt Light and the sweeping view of Pemaquid Pt on the tape.

The image of the lens at Boston Light shown here does not do justice to the video footage. You will see a kaleidoscope of glass with rainbows of color and images of swirling light as the video takes you to a magical place accompanied by Don Campbell's "Crystal Rainbows".

The tape begins at West Quoddy Light Maine and meanders down the Maine Coast including Monhegan and Matinicus Rock with its lighthouse and puffins. You will see many of your favorite lighthouses along the coasts and islands of Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Each scene is described in the 15 page guide booklet that is included with every video. The story behind this production is a tale of adventure. Many folks who have purchased this video play it again and again, see excerpts from their letters on our reviews page.

Nubble Light was filmed during the infamous No Name or Holloween Storm that is described in Sebastian Jungers Book "The Perfect Storm". You'll see Nubble Light in the distance with huge breaking seas around it. Close up views provide a feel for the awesome power of this storm. Nubble Light Storm

Letter from a viewer
"Your video New England by The Dolphin's Eye" is nothing short of magnificent, a true feast of nostalgia and a tribute to the New England which for forty two years had been my home. Your balance of seacoast and inland footage matches my life-twenty years on the South Shore, twenty years near Peterborough, N.H. It was all there, and a powerful experience. Thank you."
